Beat the Summertime Heat--

Updated: Sep 2, 2022

The best time for beekeeping is when you and the bees can stay comfortable while you do your inspections. Try first thing in the morning or last thing in the evening.

Prepare yourself for the heat. Dress appropriately, cool packs under your veil or jacket can help.

Bee sure to hydrate well before and after. Heat emergencies are real and can be very dangerous.

Bee safe out there friends.
