• Exhibitor entries due Sunday and Monday August 23/24th NLT 7 pm 

• Judging on Aug.25th

• Fair runs for 3 consecutive weekends Thur. - Sun: Aug 27-30, Sept3-Sept 6th, and Sept 10-13th 

• Exhibit pick up on Monday the 14th.

• Honey sale fundraiser opportunity: We've asked for Aug 29/30- -ASMB will work the honey sales & education booths at State Fair

Sunflower Festival August 30

Sunflower Festival | Farm Heritage Conservancy | Maryland 

Dates & Times:

• Saturday, September 5, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

• Sunday, September 6, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The ASMB will be educating the public about the magic of the mighty honey bee and showing off the bees in the observation hive at Serenity Farm on RT 231 overlooking the river. It will be a fun day of engaging with the public. See Sign Up Genius in newsletter

 

Charles County Fair September 17th-20th

THE CHARLES COUNTY FAIR – September 17th to September 20th, 2026

•  September 16th (Wednesday): Registration (Entry-Day in person) from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM bring your exhibits to farm and garden building

• September 17th (Thursday): Judging Day

  • Judging starts at 9:30 AM

  • Fair Begins- hours 4:00 PM until 8:30 pm

• September 18/19th (Friday/Saturday):

  • 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM (building closes)

•  September 20th (Sunday):

  • 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM (building closes)

    • Exhibits must be picked up at 6pm​

    • Prize checks/premiums to be mailed to exhibitors

• Member only-Honey sale fundraiser opportunity

Calvert County Fair Sept 30-Oct 4th

Calvert County Fair

• Exhibits Due Monday Sept 28th from 10 am to 8 pm

• ​

• This last fair of the season runs from Wednesday to Sunday

  • Wednesday- Feed the needy night

  • ENTER THE FAIR FOR $1.00 OR A 14 OZ. OR LARGER CAN OF FOOD​

  • Thursday-Senior Citizen & Special Needs Day 9am – 4pm FREE ADMISSION AND FREE BAGGED LUNCH (for Calvert Co. Citizens) FOR SENIORS AND SPECIAL NEEDS PERSONS

  • Friday-Youth Day Calvert County Public Schools Closed YOUTH UNDER 18 FREE UNTIL 4:00 P.M. “Canned Food to Feed the Hungry” Accepted at Gate from Youth

  • Saturday- and Sunday 9am-10pm Bldgs close at 9pm

• Exhibits can be picked up on Monday following the fair from 11am-7pm along with your Prize (premium) check from the main office.
