This crash course offers a first look into the hobby, led by local Southern Maryland beekeepers who will share the basics of what it’s like to keep bees in our region. You’ll learn key concepts, gain a sense of what’s involved, and discover whether beekeeping might be right for you. This class is designed as a starting point — just enough to spark your interest and prepare you for the next step in your beekeeping journey.
